The Stark County Minority Business Association (SCMBA) and Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC) has supported minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses in Stark County and beyond. Recognizing the need for resources and connections in neighboring communities, SCMBA is excited to announce its expansion into Tuscarawas, Carroll, and Wayne counties.

This expansion is part of SCMBA’s commitment to creating opportunities for underrepresented business owners throughout Northeast Ohio. By extending our programs and resources to these counties, we aim to foster a stronger, more inclusive regional economy.

Building Bridges in Business
We will be hosting the Building Bridges in Business meeting in Wayne County, specifically in Wooster, on December 3. This event will bring together local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and stakeholders eager to see a greater impact on businesses in the area. Discussions will center on collaboration, resource-sharing, and strategies for addressing unique challenges faced by business owners in Wayne County.

The event will highlight SCMBA’s ability to connect businesses with essential tools, including networking opportunities, educational workshops, and access to funding. Attendees left feeling inspired, empowered, and ready to build a bridge between their aspirations and tangible success.

Similarly, SCMBA will host meetings in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties on December 12 and December 16. These gatherings will be filled with energy, collaboration, and the realization that SCMBA’s expansion can make a real difference in these communities.

From providing counseling opportunities to helping businesses navigate the complexities of funding and grant applications, our team is dedicated to equipping these counties with the resources needed to thrive. We believe that every business has the potential to grow, and by entering these new regions, SCMBA is taking another step toward leveling the playing field for all entrepreneurs.
