Skyler Parks

Skyler Parks serves as our Director of Economic Development & Growth. He is a Canton native, and graduated from McKinley Senior High School. He furthered his education by earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business management from Walsh University. He is motivated through his work by the need that still exists in his community, which is opportunity, education, and resources for all, especially minority businesses. Advice that Skyler embodies every day is “the difference between the impossible and the possible lies in your determination.” Skyler currently serves on the Greater Stark County Urban League Board, Child & Adolescent Board, Downtown Canton Partnership Board, President of the Kappa Tau Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., 2nd Vice President of the NAACP Stark County Branch 3202, Tom Tod community volunteer, youth football coach, and youth mentor.
